HOW I WORK

Do you recommend a consultation?

Yes, it is important to have a consultation before the big day, this gives us time to get to know each other and to discuss your personal style and aesthetic for your wedding. It is a great idea to bring along some inspiration, I have a pinterest page here to inspire you. This will help give a clear idea of the look that you want to achieve and the feel of your wedding.

During the consultation, I will talk you through the process for the big day and also offer advice on how to keep you looking your best throughout the day. You will be able to see how your makeup and hair looks in different light and how it will photograph.

After our consultation or if possible on the day of the trial I will give you the timings for your wedding day to help keep the process as seamless and relaxed as possible.

How long will the trial take?

Please allow up to 1 hour for your makeup consultation. If you are having a combined Hair & Makeup trial please allow 2 hours. If you are wearing a headpiece, veil or clip-in extensions, please bring these with you.

Do you come to me?

Yes, I provide a totally mobile service throughout Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough so the consultation can be done in the comfort of your own home or in my studio in Nelson. This is your opportunity to try out any ideas that you may have, establish the look you are after and create the perfect hair and make-up for your wedding day.

What products do you use?

I use only the highest quality products to ensure your makeup is long lasting, better for your skin and requires minimal touch ups. False lashes can also be provided, I have a choice of both individual and bar lashes, to suit either a natural or a more dramatic look.

Does it cost to have you travel?

Yes, I do charge for venues outside of the Nelson, Richmond area, however, I am flexible and if we have an early start and there is a spare room near the venue I am more than happy to make it work.

How much is the deposit and is it refundable?

I require roughly a 25% deposit to lock in your wedding date, it is not refundable. The remaining amount is due two weeks before your wedding day or on the day in cash.

How do you accept payment?

I accept Payment via bank deposit 2 weeks prior to your wedding or cash on the day.
